Review
Break Ball 2 Gold is another step taken by the developers of Break Ball and Break Ball 2 in the development of an exciting breakout game. The game has very good graphics as it actually uses OpenGL. The main feature of this breakout game is that it allows the user to select levels according to his/her expertise and interest. The player can select any of the six provided paddle types and a ball skin from the three available. The player can also set the speed of the game by selecting any of the five speed levels. A variety of amusing and fascinating patterns makes the game more exciting and keeps the player entertained. The notable feature of the gameplay is the occasional appearance of beach balls, which breaks the concentration of the player and increases his/her score at the same time. There are also many other exciting items, like power capsules, that make the gameplay a little harder and put the user's reflexes and stamina to a test.
The trial version of the game is only sixty minutes long. Still, the game is very small and provides players with more excitement than many other games of the category, so it is probably worth buying. |
